The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and U.S. Coast Guard have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to coordinate their respective responsibilities for civilian maritime nuclear projects. The agreement addresses agency roles and responsibilities, review schedules, technical reviews, inspections, and coordination on safety, security, and environmental protection.
